Hacı Bayram Veli Mosque, located in Ankara’s Ulus district, was built in the 15th century in honor of Hacı Bayram-ı Veli and represents an important example of Ottoman religious architecture. Right next to it stands the Temple of Augustus, constructed between 25–20 BCE in honor of the Roman Emperor Augustus, and it is one of the most significant remains from the Roman period in Ankara. Together, these two structures showcase the city’s rich historical layers and cultural heritage.
